BURNELL E. STEINMEYER, JR., was raised in Gothenburg,
Nebraska, where he was born on December 20, 1952. He obtained his
undergraduate degree in business from Kearney State College in 1976,
and his law degree from the University of Nebraska in 1979, and
received an advanced law degree in taxation from the University of
Florida in 1980. He is licensed to practice law in Nebraska and
Colorado. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. Tax Court. Mr.
Steinmeyer practices primarily in the areas of federal taxation law,
corporate law, entity planning and selection and business transactional
law. He is co-author of the legal treatises "Family Business
Organizations" and "Estate Planning for Farmers and Ranchers",
published by Thomson/West. He is also co-author of "The Farming and
Ranching Industries", published by Little, Brown and Company.
Admitted to bar, 1979, Nebraska; 1993 Colorado. Education: University of Nebraska at
Kearney (B.S., 1976) University of Nebraska (J.D., 1979); University of Florida (LL.M., in
