LARRY R. BAUMANN was raised in Chadron, Nebraska, where he
was born on February 19, 1946. He obtained his undergraduate degree
from Chadron State College in 1968 and his law degree from the
University of Nebraska in 1974. He was the president of the Council of
School Attorneys in Nebraska from June 1988 to June 1989. Mr.
Baumann is licensed to practice law in Nebraska and practices
primarily in the area of litigation with emphasis in commercial law,
school law, construction litigation, and employment law, including claims
of discrimination. He is active in the representation of school districts
and has been a speaker at seminars on school law. He is admitted to
practice before all state and federal courts in the State of Nebraska,
the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Tax Court.
Admitted to bar, 1974, Nebraska and U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska; 1983, U.S. Tax
Court. Education: Chadron State College (B.A., 1968); University of Nebraska at Lincoln (J.D.,
1974). Member: Western Nebraska, Lincoln County, Nebraska State and American Bar
Associations; Nebraska Council of School Attorneys (President - 1988-1989, 2007-2008).
