TIM W. THOMPSON was raised near North Platte, Nebraska, where
he was born on July 3, 1956. He obtained his undergraduate degree in
business from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1979 and his law
degree from the University of Nebraska in 1982. While in law school,
he was a member of the Allen Appellate Moot Court Board. He is
licensed to practice law in Nebraska and practices primarily in the
areas of commercial litigation, school law and employment law. He has
been a speaker at a Nebraska Continuing Legal Education seminar on
school law on numerous occasions. He is past vice-president and
president of the Nebraska Council of School Attorneys. He co-
authored the article on trust deeds published in the Nebraska Real
Estate Law Journal in 1983.
